When your team is fully remote, we believe strongly that you need to see each other in flip-flops at least once per year. “ClimaCamp” is when our Climateers share a home for a few days to rest, relax, and eat good food prepared by coworkers.
This year, the team gathered at a home near St. Stephen, New Brunswick. We went fishing, spotted a family of deer, soaked too long in the pool and hot tub, and competed fiercely at ping pong, air hockey, pool, and the golf simulator.
After 3 days together, we Climateers were ready to return to our homes, families, and pets. By Monday, it was back to working with everyone in 2D, but the energy is a little lighter, a little friendlier, and maybe a little more determined to take on climate change, a million homes at a time.
