Climative Joins US ClimateTech Canadian Technology Accelerator 2023

Climative has been selected to participate in the US Climatech Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) for 2023. Eight Canadian climate technology ventures have joined the program to perfect their messaging and find investors and customers in the United States. The program involves mentorship and attendance at key industry events.

What is the US ClimateTech CTA?

The US ClimateTech Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) is a specialized program to support Canadian climate technology ventures looking to expand their presence and scale their operations in the United States.

The program is organized and supported by the Canadian Trade Commissioner’s Offices and Consulate General of Canada in key US markets: San Francisco, Boston, Denver, and New York. Climative will be attending events in San Francisco and Boston.

Why did Climative Join the US ClimateTech CTA?

Climative is using its data platform to produce low-carbon plans in key markets across Canada. With those projects underway, Climative is setting its sights on the United States. Legislation like the Weatherization Assistance Program and the Inflation Reduction Act have made funds available to incentivize homeowners and communities to undertake net zero retrofits.

Climative’s platform is the most saleable tool to accelerate these retrofits. We use AI to create low-carbon plans for over a million homes per day and guide homeowners through a streamlined retrofit journey. Stakeholders can use this data to design better programs and offers for homeowners.
